One day at a time

Our lives are made up of a million moments,
spent in a million different ways.
Some are spent searching for
love, peace, and harmony.
Others are spent surviving day by day.

But there is no greater moment
than when we find that life,
with all it's joys and sorrows,
is meant to be lived one day at a time.
It's in this knowledge that we discover
the most wonderful truth of all.

Whether we live in a forty-room mansion,
surrounded by servants and wealth,
or find it a struggle to manage
the rent month to month,
we have it within our power to be fully
satisfied and live a life with true meaning.

One day at a time - we have that ability,
through cherishing each moment
and rejoicing in each dream.
We can experience each day anew,
and with this fresh start we have
what it takes to make all our dreams come true.
Each day is new, and living one day at a time
enables us to truly enjoy life and live it to the fullest.

Can you change other people?

Whatever you believe about someone else
is what you will experience with them.

You can't change other people, but you can
change how they respond to you by what you
project to them.

If you perceive another person as selfish, you
will experience them as selfish.

If you perceive another person as difficult, your
experience with them will be difficult.

If you perceive another person as against you and
hurtful to you, you will attract that experience with
them.

If you experience another person as kind and receptive
to you, you will experience that with them.

Your hand

When my world falls down around me,
And the ground is sinking sand;
When peace can't be found on this earth,
I reach out for your hand.

Then when your hand wraps 'round my own,
A strength pours from your soul;
It brings me to a quiet calm,
Till once again I'm whole.

A peace beyond all reason,
A rest there in your touch;
Something in your quiet words,
My heart yearns for so much.

If I but rest my worries,
Upon your shoulder there;
The strength that pours forth from your soul,
Will wash away each care.

Like a cool, sweet taste of water,
For a tired and thirsty man;

Asking for assistance...

I asked for strength and
God gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for wisdom and
God gave me problems to solve.

I asked for prosperity and
God gave me brawn and brains to work.

I asked for courage and
God gave me dangers to overcome.

I asked for patience and
God placed me in situations where I was forced to wait.

I asked for love and
God gave me troubled people to help.

I asked for favors and
God gave me opportunities.

I received nothing I wanted
I received everything I needed.

My prayers have all been answered

Life is a gift

Treasure every moment you have!
Do tell all those that you love.
Treasure it even more and share.
Especially with a heartfelt love.

Love all those very special people.
Ones you trust with your life.
Time truly waits for no one.
So tell them, don't waste time.

Yesterday has passed, it's history.
There you can exact no change.
Just learn from your mistakes.
Our actions we can rearrange.

Tomorrow is a mystery.
Let's plan for the surprise.
Get your life in order.
Look life straight in the eye.

Today is a gift.
Appreciate each breath you take.
Make the most of daily life.
Enjoy your slice of today's cake.

Life is definitely a present!

Take each day and fill it up.

Eternity - Jesus

When you are feeling weary -
down and out and feeling blue,
when your world starts to fall apart -
and you don't know what to do.

When you think you're life is over -
and have no reason at all to live -
put yourself into my presence -
and my love to you, I will give.

When your tears feel so heavy -
and you want to set yourself free,
reach out your hand and I will take it -
and pull yourself unto Me.

When you feel so heavy burdened -
afraid that you are much too weak,
and all alone in this big world -
that's when you are most in need of Me.

When your heart feels so very empty -
and you can not find a friend around,
remember that I am with you -
and that I am always heaven found.

Remember that you are special -
that's how I planned for it to be,
because my child, you were made -
in the image and likeness of Me.

Don't look so hard to try and find Me -
I'm closer than you may know,
I'm knocking on your door right now,
Just open it and my love will show.

No, my child, life isn't perfect -
that's because sin interfered,
but I will save you from all danger,
and take away all your dreaded fears.

When you feel all tired and worn -
your eyes tear up and you can't see,
just rest yourself in my presence,
for My love is for all eternity!
